Key responsibilities:
1. Come up with creative design ideas that match the project needs and the client’s vision.
2. Research user preferences, market trends, and competing products to guide the design process and find ways to make improvements.
3. Make sketches, digital drawings, and prototypes to visually explain design ideas.
4. Use computer software to create detailed 3D models and accurate technical drawings for manufacturing.
5. Work closely with engineers, marketers, and manufacturers to ensure the design meets functional, manufacturing, and marketing needs.
6. Design products with a focus on making them easy to use, comfortable, and enjoyable for users.
7. Choose the right materials and manufacturing methods considering aesthetics, functionality, cost, and sustainability.
8. Keep refining designs based on feedback from stakeholders, user testing, and prototyping.
9. Clearly communicate design ideas and solutions through presentations and reports to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
10. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
11. Review designs, conduct product testing, and collaborate with manufacturers to maintain quality standards.
12. Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and materials in industrial design.
13. Ensure designs comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.
14. Keep accurate design documentation, including specifications and drawings, for future modifications and improvements.

Salary
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,00,000 – 2,16,000 /year
